Question:

How do I see the effort or work by resource at a summary task? See the example below



Answer:

1. Create the scenario:


2. Switch to Resource Usage View:


3. Click on Project, Group By, Customize Group by:

4. Check: Group assignments, not resources

5. Input Task Summary Name as the first Field Name, then select Assignment under field Type.

6. Input Name as the second Field Name.


7. Click on OK

Result:


Desired Result:

Summary Task
13 hrs of a BA 
11 hrs of a PM
